We were talking about how lovely it would be to do a stylized shoot. Wouldn’t that be nice? And as we spoke the plan just came together. I am SO glad that she was my partner in crime on this one because it was AWESOME!!! I had such a great time and am so pleased with the images that came out of my  camera. I am still a little high on the fumes. :)

We were able to get the gorgeous Sarah McIntosh to be our model for the day. This girl can WORK IT! Tisha Tinsman worked her hair and make-up magic for the shoot. And the Indie Film Factory  provided us with an amazing location for the first half of the shoot. Loved shooting there!

The first half of the shoot is all about glamour. Ladies I have to recommend you get bridal portrait session if you at all possible. Wedding day time is precious but this is so worth it!

The Indie Film Factory has a different sets available for shooting and I loved these concrete walls.

 

 

It was an interesting challenge to shoot in a studio as I am usually a natural light, on location photographer, but I did enjoyed it and learned so much. Look out studio shoots I’m coming. :)

Until then though, I will play outside. Here is the desert shoot. Just too much goodness!! A special thank you to Jonathan Shrader for being our groom for the afternoon. Handsome, funny and not afraid to ask for directions. ;)

This is where I truly felt like myself. This shoot was framed with the majestic Red Rock Canyon of Nevada.

Sarah is not just gorgeous, but she can also hike in a wedding dress. That, people, is talent!

I love surprises, and that is what Tabita did for all of her guests. She sang a surprise song for her husband. It was so heart felt and beautiful. I’m glad I wore waterproof mascara.

I learned a few things with this one. 1. I have hard water. 2. It’s more difficult than you might think. 3. It’s great to have an assignment like this to explore new ideas in your photography! :)

I can not even begin to express the awesomeness of this workshop! I love learning new things. And boy did I! The most eye opening part (for me) was the newborn section. Look at these little angels! So sweet. :)

 

 It was an action packed few days. Here are a few shots of our lovely couple. New Port Beach offers such beautiful backdrops for all of these photos.

 

 

This is one of my favorites. You can feel the LOVE. ;)

That was the case a while ago at Disneyland. :) It is the happiest place on Earth after all. As my hubby and I walked around we heard some pretty cool music coming from the Tomorrow Land Stage. They had a band playing the best music of all: 80s. It was so awesome! Luckily I was packing heat (my camera) and here are some of the cool shots of the night. Enjoy!
